What a coincident to join the spot
trip. A trip to explore deep in Taiwan -
a new place where visitor not yet known to visit, therefore, a sparkling trip.
Naiao is a new place to me after so many
years in Taiwan.
The tour members were arranged to meet in Taipei
station and about 2 hours driving to the location by bus. One thing pretty
interested was that we hadn’t unit language to fluent our conversation, since
there were four nation’s people join the trip, which was Japen,
Korea, US and Taiwan.
We could see the view was changed from a
city view to a village view in a mountain. Then we finally arrived the Naoao
train station.
After each person gets his bicycle, we
started our riding from the store next to the Naiao train station for the day.
A special routing trip by bicycle. The
first stop stopped next to Jhao Yang National Trail. Believe it or not, we left the bike unlocked
while no stolen might happened. The Jhao
Yang National Trail is a trail long 2.2km
with about 2 hours walking, is a good place for eco trip. Along the trail, not
only we learned a lot of native plants, but also the great view of the Pacific.
Especially we had someone familiar with the ecology environments, so that we
had eco lessons and tested plants on the way and it built up more interests of
the trip.
After left the National trail, we ride
toward the lunch. On the way stopped by
a temple which has a only standing figure of Mercy Buddha in Taiwan. In the Jian-Hwa restaurant,
we had delicious meal and special made ice cream, which is also a new taste to
us, I and my girl especially favor the Mulberry flavors.
In the afternoon, we ride to the Naiao Eco
center, where we learned more about the Naiao ecology. Ride around the green
tunnels. Visited the Atayal Museum, and the Chili Hunters. I was so surprised on the people’s life style
and a simple chili can made into so many products even ice creams. I felt an extremely special trip for the day
and slowly exhausted my energy.
On the way back, I was too tired to keep
await and slept all the way until arrived Taipei
train station. Then we feel sorry to say good-bye to those one day overseas
friends.
